Eating In and Getting Brand Deals

This week has been a crazy one so far, for sure! Balancing school and life becomes harder with each new project/assignment our instructors give us. However the little things are what keep me going... and actually if you read all the way to the end, I have some big news and a special offer for you readers.

I don't know if you have heard of LOVEPIZZA, but it is a fast, casual, family owned & run pizza restaurant located in Edmonton and St. Albert. I had the pleasure of eating their pizza this week, because my roommates dad brought us some when he came to visit us. We had the Meatatarian, the City Market, the Ode to Ukraine, and the BBLT (pictured above) and loved them all! Starting with the Meatatarian, on top it has Tangy Tomato Sauce, Fior Di Latte, Spolumbo’s Italian Sausage, Pepperoni, Capicolla and Shaved Parmesan. It is a little spicy for all of you out there who don't like the heat. Next we had the City Market; on top was Roasted Garlic Spread, Pesto Pulled Chicken, Artichoke Hearts, Fresh Tomato, Pickled Red Onion, Goat Cheese, Balsamic Reduction. I think it was my favourite out of all of them...because I love goat cheese! The Ode to Ukraine had Roasted Garlic Spread, Orange Cheddar, Shaved Potato, Irvings Farm Bacon, Caramelized Onion, Crème Fraiche, Green Onion. I feel as if it was made to resemble perogies. And lastly, as seen above, is the BBLT; topping this bad boy is Tangy Tomato Sauce, Fior Di Latte, Irvings Farm Bacon, Back Bacon, Fresh Arugula and Fresh Tomato. I loved this one because of how fresh it was and the arugula.
LOVEPIZZA, as it is a local business, loves to support other local businesses so a lot of their ingredients are sourced from right here in Alberta.
I would definitely go check this place out for some great handmade(I think we can say artisanal) pizza!

Okay, so I know this blog was short but I wanted to share some big news with you! On Tuesday January 30th I was approached on Instagram to partner with a company based here in Canada. The business is called SOCKBLVD; they are a small company based in Toronto and they started up in 2017. They specialize in crazy, fun, wacky, colourful socks, and for each SOCKBLVD purchase made, they donate one non-perishable food item to shelters and food banks within Canada. I love this company and believe in their goals...that is why I have agreed to partner with them and I am pleased to call myself a SOCKBLVD brand ambassador! Now this is the part you have been waiting for... If you go to their website sockblvd.com and put in promo code tylersocks15 you can save 15% off your next purchase from this awesome company.

That's all for this week folks, I hope to see you again next week on Cook, Create, and Contemplate! Follow me on social media @tyler_dziwenko and check out my YouTube channel The Fully Loaded Backpack
